Breastfeeding Consultations

One day a week is set up for breastfeeding consultations with the student midwife and doulas. You can schedule an
appointment to receive help with any breastfeeding questions, concerns or problems that you are having (including
cracked nipples, a baby who wont latch, pain while breastfeeding, clogged milk ducts etc).

We want you to have a positive and successful breastfeeding relationship with your baby, so please ask us for an appointment.
Each appointment is one-hour long and includes: help latching your baby, discuss how often to feed and what is
normal during feedings, weighing the baby, information on nutrition during breastfeeding, and practicing different
breastfeeding positions.
