Mums' Haven is pleased to have specially designed facilities for exercise that include exercise equipment (such as yoga mats, exercise balls etc). We are currently organizing prenatal and postpartum exercise classes that clients can choose to regularly participate in (such as zumba, yoga etc). The classes will help you recover from your birth (whether natural, medicated or cesarean) and will help to strengthen and tone your muscles now that pregnancy is finished. Classes encourage body awareness and self-love as you grow to appreciate the changes pregnancy brought to your figure. We want to help mums be as healthy as possible, so that they have plenty of energy to care for their new little ones well..
Special classes for postpartum women include:
Vaginal toning sessions : these sessions are private (only one student and instructor) and work with vaginal weights, kegals and squats etc to regain pelvic floor strength. These exercise can help with urinary or fecal incontinence, can promote healing after childbirth and can prevent pelvic organ prolapse later in life. They can also help to make your sex life more enjoyable.
